Crystal-Clear Voices, Even at Low Volumes
Can't hear dialogue on TV? ZVOX can fix that! The AccuVoice AV200 uses hearing aid technology to make voices crystal-clear, even at low volumes. ZVOX's proprietary technology literally lifts voices out of the sound track - and then modifies the voices to make them understandable. You'll hear every word, even on poorly mixed programs.
Exclusive Technology Makes Voices Clear.
The AccuVoice AV200 Speaker uses patented technology (Patent No.: US 9,747,923 B2) to make voices clear and easy to understand when you watch a program, movie or sporting event on TV.

The speaker uses a high-speed computer processor and advanced algorithms to separate voices from the rest of the soundtrack. It then manipulates those voices to make them clear and understandable. The results are remarkable
Easy to Install. One-Page Owner's Manual
The AV200 is so small (17" wide) you can put it just about anywhere. And it works well above or below your TV, or to the left or right. Hookup is simple – just one connecting wire to your TV. Then plug it in the wall, turn down the sound on your TV speakers, and you get high quality sound and clear voices on every program.

Taming Loud Commercials
If you've ever been blasted out of your chair by a too-loud commercial - you'll love our Output Leveling (OL) feature. Just push the OL button and a sophisticated processor takes over, making soft sounds louder and loud sounds softer, so there are fewer jarring moments when switching channels or when commercials come on. This system also helps by boosting the audio levels from a DVD or Blu Ray player that are not loud enough.

PROS :

More TV programs use foreign stars who like sluice - or I'm getting older. Johnny Lee Miller version of Sherlock Holmes, Lee To Me, after spending a year trying to understand every Marvel movie made so far and continuously closing or closed captioned titles (or action) I eventually ran across this amazing box,It's easy to hook up the optical out (cable included!) And easy to detect the remote. But best of all - it works very well! I will eventually
Johnny and other mumblers are fully understandable on TV. My wife does not like it because she does not listen to TV at 75% volume anymore. I set the AccuVoice speaker to 9 or 10 and give the correct voice resolution to combine the TV with a 35% volume
As a note - I am an audio engineer for a 20 year old business, and I spent some time with my TV's audio settings, including the tweaking tribe, bass, midsum, clear voice, circuit, etc. The bars did not help at all and my wife did not hate them. I'm not a fan
Either. This box actually does what it does It makes the voice clear. It's not a sound bar that promotes fake surroundings and nasty artifacts. It's not a simple speaker that makes the sound stronger. It improves and explains the voice of the audio. If you're like me - it still works with 54-year-olds, but some can help - this box is a wonderful thing for you. Think of +2.0 reading glasses for the ears!
2) I have a marked high frequency hearing loss, and have trouble hearing nearly everything on TV, even with hearing aids. I am truly impressed with the degree of improvement in audio quality with the AccuVoice 200 over my Sony sound bar that I used before. I still don't hear everything that is said, but the improvement is most definitely noticeable
3)unit projects dialogue extremely well
4)gets very loud and remains distortion free at nearly all volumes
5)dialogue and voices and crystal clear and forward even at low volumes
6)surprisingly rich overall sound despite not having a dedicated subwoofer or bass drivers
7)very tiny overall size, won't block remote sensor in most cases & has a quality look and feel
8)programs to your existing tv remote quickly, has dolby digital decoding
I wanted an external speaker that would fit between the base legs of my 55' Samsung TV and sit on the same stand without obstructing the screen's view. I wanted something with a center channel to bring the clarity of dialogue forward when watching Television and Film. I wanted something that had integrated low end bass without a subwoofer or surround sound for my small apartment. I wanted something with variable settings, but not so complicated I would have to get an engineering degree to fine tune. I wanted something easy to set up, something that turns on and off with my TV's remote, something that could process Blu Ray, Apple TV, and Samsung Streaming Apps. What I got was EVERYTHING I asked for in an incredibly well made product. I did a ton of research online and at both audio and video retailers to weigh the pros and cons of actual clarity and separation of sound produced and features like HDMI ARC connection vs Optical Audio... AccuVoice
9)AV2000 uses the latter which at this point is much more reliable across multiple platforms and isn't plagued with a delayed audio/picture synch issue that you're expected to manually adjust in your TV's setting. Simplicity and Quality at a very reasonable price. If you're looking for a sounder, make your life easy and click 'add to cart.'
CON:

1)I ordered an AccuVoice AV200 speaker from Amazon on Jan. 2, 2017. Received it two weeks later. It worked great for twenty minutes, then it began to make loud popping and static noises. I shut it off for a short time and checked all the connections to ensure I had properly set it up. Turned it on again and it worked fine -- for 20-25 minutes until the popping and static occurred again. This happened a few more times until I finally boxed it up to send back. I contacted the company, ZVOX, directly who informed me they were having a problem with some of the speakers which had been sent out in early January. They suggested I return it directly to them and they would replace it. They sent out a replacement speaker, which they claimed had been pre-tested, one week after receiving the original speaker from me. The replacement speaker worked fine the first night I used it. The next night it began making the same popping and static noise after it had been on for an hour. It would be okay if I shut it off completely and turned it on again, however the noise returned again after another one to two hours of use. This happened repeatedly.
The voice clarifying technology works great when the speaker actually works. Unfortunately, the speakers seem to be defective and don't work for very long before they become static machines. I am returning my second speaker to Amazon today for a full refund.
The AccuVoice 200 will not sync with my Samsung TV, even with the alternative method given in the instructions, so for now, I have to use the AccuVoice remote to control volume and settings. I plan to get a universal remote which I hope will allow me to control my AccuVoice and my two DVR's, which the Samsung won't sync with either. The AccuVoice will only connect to the TV using a fiber-optic connection, it does not have an HDMI connector. If it did have an HDMI connection, the TV might recognize it and allow me to us the TV remote, or maybe not.
2)no bluetooth or wireless capabilities
3)no dedicated bass drivers, so can't reach very low
4)super tiny, so soundfield is not very wide although dialogue is projected extremely well
5)decent, but not great for music and not very powerful for action movies
6) no hdmi and no dts decoding

Overall, this is another excellent Zvox product! It actually projects dialogue and voices better than any other Zvox unit available, and really any other soundbar/soundbase from any manufacturer. I own three other Zvox units - 670, 570, and older 325, which are all much more powerful for music and movies, but lack the forward sounding and powerful dialogue reproduction of the new AV200 unit. This really is a great TV audio product that sounds better than I expected given its tiny size. It works perfectly at enhancing dialogue without over brightening the sound or removing any of the richness of sound that Zvox is known for. Truly a perfect product for people with hearing issues or anyone looking to enhance TV dialogue. Will not provide as full and rich sound as larger Zvox units, but certainly trumps every other unit I have ever heard at dialogue reproduction. Well done Zvox!
