Wearable Technology PROS and CONS - Neck Massager - Kneading Massage Pillow with Heat for Shoulders

Zyllion Shiatsu Back Neck Massager - Kneading Massage Pillow with Heat for Shoulders, Lower Back, Calf, Legs, Foot - Use at Home, Office, and Car, ZMA-13-BK (Black)
Beware! Do not use the bear skin. In sensitive skin areas, in areas with reddened body areas, outdoor ulcers or lesions, or with poor circulation of body parts.
Extensive use leads to excess heat. If the product is too warm, turn off the front of the unit to cool.
Do not use this tool without cover, or cover any damage. If you have sensitivity to heat or comprehend heat or have limited temperature awareness, use it
Heat function with intense caution. Use towel, sheet or other fabric made from nonllammable materials between you and the device to reduce your body's reaction
And takes up to 15-20 minutes interval between sessions. Combining heat function, the collision of the shaussuu massage of rolling will intensify heat sensitivity. Wear tough materials when used

Excessive confrontation can increase your risk of burns.

If you have serious medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, arthritis, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, or various skin diseases, consult this therapist before.

You may be pregnant, if you have a pacemaker, artificial limb or pins or screws in any area of your body.

Pros
1) Gets decently hot, like a heat pack, which can successfully assist in muscle relaxation
2)Can relieve some back pain/loosen knots in localized areas
3)Definitely better than no massage at all
4)Very strong action of the rotating kneading balls. I like this, you can lean into it to vary the intensity of massage. The heat level is perfect, and helps with muscle relaxation. You can place it anywhere
5)on your body,Nice compact design, Comfortable massage; heat function. On/Off option for heat.
6)Easy to use,The massage can be deep,-Almost as good as a massage therapist,High quality, Good quality, Heats up nicely
7) Build quality seems to be good, design seems to be durable.
8)It is also fairly quiet - you pretty much don't hear it while driving with the music on, or just driving highway speeds.
9) I use it to massage my lower back, and I find it works pretty well for that. Works great for upper/middle of the back as well.
10)The heaters can be turned off, and the massager switches the direction of rotation periodically.
11)It is nice and portable, so I can't take it out of the car and bring it to the office/home without hassle.Works great for neck and all back areas (My neck is 17 1/2 inches)
12) Well built, strong with the ability to support heavy bodies (I'm 220 pounds). This is important, cheaper models can't continue rolling (or massaging) with heavy pressure on the rollers. The rollers will stop rotating with cheaper models.
13) The price is economical with value, functionality and quality all well delievered into the product.Movement is comfortable not to aggressive, auto shut off, good size, 12 volt adapter is nice if your on a road trip.

Cons:

1)Inflexible shape makes neck massages difficult/impossible and leaves certain back muscles inaccessible, especially in petite or larger people. The device was smaller than I imagined when first taken out of the box, but the two massage components inside the pillow ended up being further apart than is ideal for a petite person. The pillow design is definitely inferior to the flexible shoulder/neck massagers that drape around the neck. This cannot be positioned to massage the trapezius and has never improved neck pain.
2)Will most likely cause anyone bruising/soreness on first use, but not much since then (unless you use it on a hard floor and aggressively put all your body weight on it)
I have a small neck which is pretty straight due to fusion surgery, so I cannot get the kneading action mid neck when lying down. I have to use this sitting up. You will need a tall chair which extends over your head to use this for your neck. I use a adjustable platform bed to achieve neck massage. I used to own a neck massager that I could lay down on which was much more relaxing ( I wore it out)
3) 20 minute max session,The spacing between the rotating heads is fixed. When using it on my lower back it feels like it would be more effective the the spacing was a bit different. With the current geometry, the massager doesn't quite reach some tender spots when working on the lower back. The spacing works better for upper/middle back for me. I imagine this will vary from person to person
4) The power button isn't responsive some of the time. Sometimes it won't shut off on the first try, and its a bit annoying.
5)) While the rollers do alternate directions, there is only one speed on the device which can get boring rather quickly
6) This is probably just me and definitely negligable, but it does have a small weird odor. I'm not sure if its the leather of the device or where it was housed. It will likely go away after a few days, so I'll wait to see.
7) The massaging heads are too hard, and can leave you feel bruised after a bit. I'm not sure if this is 100% avoidable, but I think it would've been better if they used some hard rubber instead of plastic. I'd go with Shore A durometer of 80 or less for the rubber 8 This is not really a con, as the product wasn't designed for this, but I was hoping it would be possible to use it on glutes, but the motors aren't powerful enough for that.

8) Heat function level cannot be adjusted.
Needs to be hotter,UPS delivered this to the wrong apartment so I almost didn't get it. Decided to go check at the office and someone had turned it in. Amazon wasn't going to help me though. Was almost out of 50.00 because of it

Overall/Conclusion: I like this device and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
